Comedy Village Times Square is launching a new monthly comedy series that directly confronts long-standing industry biases against women comedians, particularly regarding age. The show, Funny Women of a Certain Age®, was created by veteran comedian Carole Montgomery, who has over four decades of stand-up experience. Montgomery developed the series as a specific response to persistent ageism and sexism in the entertainment industry, aiming to provide a dedicated platform for comedians who have often been marginalized due to their age and gender.

The monthly residency features an accomplished roster of performers who have significantly influenced the comedy landscape over many years.
